Phase 1: You see this object on the MVF website. Your mind remembers back to coffee on your pants. Ow. Anything's got to be better than the cupholders we have. You place the order.
Phase 2: This object arrives on your porch. It's well made… but there's just no way, right? How is it even possible something this simple actually is going to fix the problem when hundreds of well-paid Chrysler engineers couldn't do it? Well, it's here, may as well put the thing in and see what happens.
Phase 3: Yeah, that whole phase 2 thing? I'm an idiot. This thing is brilliant. You'd think from looking at it that it only holds huge cups… but it solves the problem for narrow bottles and my travel coffee mug, too. Putting a ring of steel in place right there is basically all you need to keep anything from getting a chance to tilt out over the brake handle and stain your pants legs. It fits in place better than some of the stuff that shipped from the factory.
It's a simple, elegant solution, well-built and does what it says on the label.
