Why didn't I do this sooner?

Swapped the 249 for a 231 and adjusted the rod and I believe that part of the rod was contacting the front driveshaft. There was a noise that I never got around to diagnosing. We installed this yesterday. My son tore out the old one and got stuck trying to remove the bushing on the handle side. I ground some of it off with the dremel and got it to pop off. I got to do the fun part (installation) and it when together smoothly. The noise is gone and it's much more direct. Great product.
