ZJ 96-98 Bolt-In Dash Bar With Grab Handles

We are introducing the new bolt-in dash bar for the 1996-1998 Jeep ZJ!
For some reason, the designers at Jeep never thought to add passenger grab handles for the front passenger seat. We have remedied that issue PLUS added a grab bar for the driver side, helping greatly for pulling oneself into a higher lifted ZJ.
The bar is a straight design constructed from 1.25" OD 14 gauge steel tubing, ten gauge plate steel pillar brackets, and 1" OD grab handles on the sides. Without any bends, it maximizes strength. An additional bar was added over the glovebox location to act as a handlebar, giving the passenger a secure place to hold on when riding rough trails.
The bar is a single-piece design that bolts into four locations with supplied riv-nuts and heavy stainless steel bolts.
Drilling is required for installation. Installation takes only 10-15 minutes.

First off, these work very well. Just want I wanted. The first time I installed them I tried to follow the instructions and use the included nutserts. What a pain!!! Three of the four nutserts went in well, but the lower one on the drivers side is really hard to install due to the steering wheel and dash. That Jeep ended up being a parts Jeep so I moved the bar to a second Jeep and simply used self tapping screws. That went it great and was easy to install.
Easy install. And works perfectly with my 7" long arm lift on my ZJ. Makes it easy to get into jeep
